Problems about social commerce service

  The social commerce, which is an e-commerce system that uses social networking services such as Twitter and Facebook by advertising goods or services when people who want to buy their goods get together in discount prices, is an internet co-buying site. Consumers are able to buy products at affordable prices and sellers can promote their products in easy way to many people who want to buy. In recent years, clothing, cosmetics, tickets, luxury goods, financial products, and real estate or etc, this kind of product types are becoming increasingly diverse.

  However, due to the disruption of social commerce, people who have been experiencing dissatisfaction have also been increasing nowadays due to the problems such as the difference in the quality of the actual product from the advertised product, refunds from coupons booked to use hotels or condos that companies over issued before, or purchasing cosmetics or food products that from companies that use false advertising. As a result, consumers opened their own websites which deals with social commerce to raise these issues, and share ideas.

  Consequently some social-commerce companies are preparing solutions in order to minimize the complaints of consumers. Nonetheless, the social commerce service has been growing hugely with unmaintained problems due to initial phase. Because numerous companies are struggling to be preempted their advertisement in this market, they have done plunging product planning such as insufficient consideration to think the revenue structure without quality of service issues. There is still a lot of homework that remains to be solved.

  Since they are known as social commerce, they only have the trick of business ability instead of real quality. In a situation that has no difference between traditional co-purchase and social commerce, leading a real definition of social commerce is also needed to find the underlying meaning with smart consumption. And with the situation that Facebook also announced to be preempted going through social commerce, I hope that this market structure system will be of reliable service with reasonable consumption. It’s all about our story that we face.

  4. It seems opposition relation between customers and sales men. Customers want to discount or convenience, sales men want to not for discount. With this situation, they thought the way how to get their goal as possible as and some of the situation has gone to difficult to solve.

  5. I wanna say there are more people who are satisfied about SC. As you said, the companies are struggle to offer better services.
    So... r u using SC? and it was succesful? or not satisfied?
